Today I had my first experience helping blind people and its very nice

Have gotten help with things that used to be impossible. Everything from mixing medications properly to reading messages on the screen of a broken TV. Just a little bit life-changing.

Idea is rly great. But there is a problem. What if random brainless person or very little kid will say smth wrong on purpose? The app can be helpful but it can be dangerous too.

I got a call from a young man needing a tag size read from his pants And his shirt color A very legitimate question App worked great I was glad to help

I went to sign up as a sighted person, but the app demands access to my camera. I cant understand why it would need video of whats going on at my end, and it smells of spyware.

Brilliant idea, hope that itll continue to grow and develop, helping blind people worldwide.

I never was called to help a blind person. What I did get is an endless supply of junk mail in my inbox, they must have sold my email address because I never give it out....I thought this was a worthy cause. I feel I got scammed.

I just got my first two calls today and missed both because the ringtone sounds like one of my sons toys. Im bummed cause I would love to help. It would be great if it could give more of a screen notification as well like a normal phone call.

Today was the 3-4th time I have been able to assist the visually impaired. A man showed me a picture of a woman he is planning to take on a date. He only wanted to know if she had all of her teeth. I said not only that but she is absolutely beautiful! All the world needs is more love ❤️

The call came in and it was an senior woman that wanted to label some cans of veggies, soup, and fruit. We had a nice session that lasted about 15 minutes. She was thankful to have a way to identify her cans and I was great full for the opportunity to help make someones day easier. A true win-win. Thank you Be My Eyes for facilitating this opportunity to employ cooperation to improve the world.

While I have found this program to be very helpful in the past regarding identifying things around the house, perhaps this morning was my most useful experience. At work I had to select an avatar for some work-related business. I could not select it with the keyboard, and my screen reader would not describe anything about the avatars available. The helper was able to describe the avatars and then help me use my touchpad to select and activate the avatar I needed. Thanks for this great service! This is a wonderful concept that has been put into action in a very successful way.

Ive helped 2 people in the past week and they were both great experiences on both ends of the calls! What a wonderful idea!!

That apps idea is perfect, but I dunno why, it doesnt want to run on my device, after signing up, the app is closing down.. Anyone else ? Solution ?

Its a negative rank but not because of the idea. Just to get noticed, my app doesnt work on my iPhone 6 (8.1.2), any fix? Tried to reinstall it but nothing seems to work

This is a very good app but it seems not to be working for me. I signed up yesterday morning and until now I have 0 notifications from people who need help.

Im from Brazil and im trying to register, but the app keeps saying that my connection is offline. And it doesnt recognize my facebook account. I really want to rate it with more stars, but sadly i cant even get past from the register sceeen. Ive used 3G connection too, but still doesnt work. I will try again later, but i hope this issue is solved with updates. Anyway, i loved the idea, congratulations!
